Thank you to everyone who managed to make it today, I know it is not always easy to get time out of our busy days.
I hope everyone gained something from the day, I know I did!
As well as forgetting the introductions at the start of the day I also forgot to let everyone know that the next meeting was previously agreed on back in October and is due to take place on Tuesday, May 8th, at Tsinghua International School.
I do not have minutes from today but did jot down a few key things, so hopefully some of this is useful or will act as a reminder.
The books that Dr Mease recommended were:
The Family ADHD Solution by Dr Mark Bertin The Whole-Brain by Daniel Siegel and Tina Bryson The Mindful Therapist by Daniel Siegel
John also recommended “The College Finder” by Steven Antonoff, as a useful resource for searching for college placements. Am I correct in thinking that this is for US colleges only?
And a few dates that popped up were: Feb. 28th WAB invite us to attend Colleges that Change Lives, from 11.30-12.30. March 6th BISS invite us to attend their career fair and further details will be emailed nearer the time.

The website for Beijing Alcoholics Anonymous is: http://www.aabeijing.com/ should anyone be interested in making contact about a school speaker, and for Freedom Chemical Dependency is: http://www.fcd.org/content/index.asp
I would be keen to receive further information on the wellness survey that Aleka spoke about, I did not manage to get details down about this.
Hamilton asked all schools to consider dropping the January SAT – so please forward further queries/info to him about this - hgregg@harrowbeijing.cn
I am sure there is more that I have left off, so if anyone has other contributions to make then please do. I will also post this on the wiki.
